Camp Tannadoonah
A gathering of friends, on a hill, above a lake,
in
among the trees.

Another great Summer at Tannadoonah!
The 2008 summer camp season has come to a close, and we hope that everyone who attended camp had as fantastic a summer as we did. We surpassed our goals for the summer, with over 490 total campers! It was a Patteran Year, which made 2008 a really special summer. Check out some of our photos online.
But we're not done yet for 2008! You can join us for Family Camp (September 19-21) or the Fall Festival camping weekend (September 26-28). More details will be available soon. You can email Miss Amber if you have any questions.
Camp Tannadoonah is affiliated with Camp Fire USA, and is owned and operated by the River Bend Council of Camp Fire. It is licensed by the State of Michigan, and accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). We're just 30 miles from South Bend, Indiana and 15 miles from Three Rivers, Michigan.

In 2008, Camp Tannadoonah is celebrating its 88th year of camping, and its 79th year at its current location on beautiful Birch Lake! Also in 2008 we will be celebrating a Patteran Year, a special event which only takes place every 5 years! Come to Gypsy Week (August 3-9) to take part in this special tradition.
Campers at Tannadoonah have the opportunity to live in a peaceful and rustic natural environment in the woods above Birch Lake in Vandalia, Michigan. There are many activities for campers to participate in while at camp—check them out here!

Camp Tannadoonah is directed by Ms. Amber Holleman Grundy. 2008 will be Ms. Amber's third year as the director at Tannadoonah.
