Camp Fire River Bend is a non-profit organization that owns and operates Camp Tannadoonah. We rely on your generosity to continue reaching new children and improving our programs, facilities, and impact.


We offer financial aid to campers of all backgrounds. The economy has made this a funding priority over the last few years as our parents’ budgets have been stretched. Campership funds also help us provide the camp experience to children from partner organizations who serve underprivileged youth.


Most of our buildings are over 50 years old and are fully functional. This requires maintenance, upgrades, and improvements to keep pace with the growing demands of a growing camp.

Area of Greatest Need

These gifts are not restricted for any particular purpose, but provide Camp with the flexibility to spend where it sees a need. These funds are often used for unforeseen expenses, new projects, or administrative costs. In 2014, we used unrestricted donations to fund additional camperships, make renovations to cabins and other buildings, and buy new mattresses for campers.
