Day Camp
Day camp is available for all weeks except Mini Week (Under the Sea). Day camp is offered to campers ages 5-11. The price for day camp is $275/week. Day campers may participate in all camp programs between 8:45am and 5:45pm (EDT), Monday through Friday. Lunch will be served. Day campers may spend the night at camp on Friday night, if space permits (please check with Camp Director). Register for day camp >

June 20 - June 26: Pirate Week
What do Pirates do when they go to camp? Aaarrrts and crafts and Aaarrrchery! Ahoy! Join us for a week of Pirate fun at Camp Tannadoonah! Help us set sail and lay claim to the waters of Birch Lake. We'll also be searching for lost treasure!
June 27- July 3: Jungle Safari Week
Get ready for some ROARING fun! Jungle drums beat in the distant night and the sounds of wild and unfamiliar animals surround your camp. You are in the Heart of the Tannadoonah jungle!
July 7 - 10: Under the Sea (Mini Week)
Under the Sea: We're exploring the deep sea better known as Birch Lake during this mini-camp experience. Fishing, swimming, boating, diving! Plus all the usual camp experiences like archery, nature, sports, crafts, and more! Mini week is a great opportunity for new campers to try out camp. It's a 3-night camp experience, with all the regular camp activities condensed into a shorter session.
Mini week is the perfect opportunity for new campers to try out camp! It's just 3 nights, and you get a little bit of everything we do during a regular week of camp, including cookout, swimming, boating, archery, nature, and more! Give it a try and see what you think.
July 7 - 17: Super Week
11 straight days of Camp Tannadoonah! Super Week combines the fun of Under the Sea Mini Week and Hawaiian Week!
July 11 - 17: Hawaiian Week
Surf's Up! We're exploring all things Hawaiian this week! Did you know that Hawaii is the only state in the US that has a royal palace? It's also the only state entirely surrounded by water. So break out your island attire and get ready for the Tannadoonah luau!
July 11 - 24: CIT II
Great campers make great future staff! Enjoy more fun, more time with kids, just more everything. We will take it up a notch from CIT I so that you can practice your own style of camp counseling. Prerequisites: going into 10th grade or higher; completed the CIT I program. Note: Weekend stay is NOT included. CITs must be picked up on Saturday and return on Sunday between weeks. All CITs must attend both weeks.
July 18 - 24: All Star Sports Week
All Star Sports Week: Get ready for the 3rd annual Tannadoonah Soccer Cup! We'll be playing all sorts of sports this week - maybe even some you've never heard of! Last year the yellow team captured the title in the Tannadoonah Cup - let's see if this year another team can steal it away!
July 18 – 31: CIT 1
CIT 1: Improve your leadership résumé and learn about campers’ needs. Explore the basics of developing and delivering the camp program. Road trip to other camps, run activities, teach new games, and be a role model in the cabin. Prerequisites: going into 9th grade or higher. Note: Weekend stay is NOT included. CITs must be picked up on Saturday and return on Sunday between weeks. All CITs must attend both weeks.
July 25 – 31: Christmas in July
Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas! We're celebrating Christmas in July at Camp Tannadoonah! Christmas cookies, a tree to decorate, and maybe even a visit from Santa Claus. Come celebrate the holidays with us at camp this year!
August 1 - 7: Survivor Week
Grab your torches and head to tribal council! Join us for a week of tribal battles, exciting challenges, and friendly competition. But don't worry, no one gets voted out of the tribe at Camp Tannadoonah!
