The safety of our campers is of utmost importance to the staff at Camp Tannadoonah. All of our seasonal camp staff attend a full week of training prior to the arrival of campers at camp. During that week, we go over emergency procedures, policies, and expectations. Staff role-play and practice various situations that they might encounter during the summer.

Camp Tannadoonah is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and licensed by the State of Michigan. In order to maintain our licensing and accreditation, we must comply with all of the guidelines and regulations laid out by the ACA and the State. We have regular inspections conducted by our camp licensing consultant, the health department, the fire marshall, and ACA visitors.
